We All Belong - Limited Edition Art Print - plus numbered certificate
A$

We All Belong - new special price - unframed print
This floral work, on first glance, is comprised of flowers that are all the same. However on closer inspection it can be seen they are all quite different and unique. One is especially different, however, to the human eye, it still looks the same on first glance. This is the message of inclusion. We are all different and all have different qualities, however we all have feelings and collectively come together to create a balanced community. This painting uses mixed media of acrylic and oil pastels. It is painted on a heavy cartridge paper. The varying green textured background is created using an application technique of layers of colour, water and plastic. The flowers are created in oil pastels and highlighted with acrylic paint.
This painting is representative of our community and the diversity of it. It is a celebration of the variety of individuals that come together to create our society.
Many of the flowers are very similar in colour and shape. However there is also an individual flower that is very different. However even though it is very different it all comes together to form the overall composition of the garden and create the balance of the piece.
‘We All Belong’ and there is a place and a role for everybody in our world. We need to acknowledge this and celebrate our diverse community.
Original work is mixed media in Acrylic, Inks and Oil Based Pastels layered and remixed on heavy gauge art paper. Owned by Toowoomba Mayor’s Charity –Sunrise Way.
Limited Editions—Digitally reproduced in full colour on high quality art paper. Series of 50 prints.
